'Thousands' seek debt help

A growing number of people are seeking debt advice and debt help as unemployment takes its toll on Britain.
The Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) has reported an increase in calls from people with queries regarding debt, benefits, unemployment and housing problems.
Calls from people looking for information about job seekers allowance rose by a third (33 per cent), suggesting that many people were unsure what to do after finding themselves out of work following the recession.
